Whether you want to look bright and glowy for your next Zoom call, or if you’re simply in the mood to switch up your skincare regimen during quarantine, these clean beauty products will surely do the trick. Read on for some of my favorite, go-to products that are not only effective but also cruelty-free, making for the perfect combination. Click on each product’s name to view.
ShineOn Jelly Lip Gloss – Tower 28 Beauty ($14)
I’m obsessed with this vegan lipgloss in the coconut shade, which looks like a milky mauve pink once applied on your lips. It’s also super moisturizing.
Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer– Bare Minerals ($33)
Because foundation feels heavy and often causes me to break out, I shifted toward using BB cream a few years ago. This one has been my go-to ever since, and it even includes SPF 30, which I love, since sunscreen is my favorite beauty product of all!
Organic Neroli Blossom Oil– Kirsten Florian ($58)
During the cooler months, owning a great body oil is essential to keeping your skin soft and smooth. This one smells amazing and keeps my entire body feeling hydrated throughout the day. You can also use it for aromatherapy purposes– it’s especially amazing during massages.
Unlocked Instant Extensions Lengthening Mascara– Hourglass ($29)
Three words: BEST. MASCARA. EVER. If you prefer lengthening over voluminizing mascara (like me), this product will be your new best friend.
Sugar Lip Balm– Fresh ($24)
This product by Fresh offers perhaps the best beauty combination ever: sunscreen and lipstick and chapstick, all in one! I wear this lip balm in the Sugar Rosé Tinted color practically every day.
Pomegranate Lip Balm– Burt’s Bees ($3.59)
Another chapstick and lipstick in one? Oh yes. I was sold as soon as I saw the dark pink pomegranate color. Besides being reasonably priced, this lip balm is also available at tons of stores– Target, Whole Foods, you name it.
Glisten + Glow Highlighter– Lilah B. ($32)
Immediately revitalize your skin with this fantastic illuminating highlighter. It’s ideal for every-day use, since it’s not too heavy.
Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40– Supergoop ($17-$34, depending on size)
This invisible sunscreen is easy to apply under any kind of makeup, and it’s totally scentless, leaving your skin feeling protected and clean.
Stem Cellular Lifting Neck Cream– Juice Beauty ($60)
While neck cream might seem like a random beauty product, it’s never too early to start applying it each night. Not only does this lifting neck cream prevent wrinkles later on, but it also keeps your skin glowing and healthy. This one from Juice Beauty is without a doubt my favorite one.
Coco Rose Exfoliating Body Scrub – Herbivore Botanicals ($36)
Exfoliators that leave your skin feeling moisturized, rather than dried out, are hard to come by, and this one from Herbivore Botanicals fits the bill. Plus, a light pink body scrub inside a sleek glass container looks beautiful on any bathroom shelf.
The Necessary Eyeshadow Palette– Ilia ($38)
If you’re seeking an understated palette for every-day makeup, this is by far the best one– plain and simple!
Color Block High Impact Lipstick– Ilia ($28)
If you want a bold red lip, this lipstick in “Flame” is the solution!
All-in-One Nourishing Eye Cream– Goop ($55)
I admit, I was slightly skeptical when I first read the words “all in one” in reference to an eye cream, but this one from Goop really is the ideal combo of being filled with hydrating vitamins without being too oily. It’s easy to wear under your every-day makeup or at night after you wash your face.
Signature Moisture Hair Masque– Oribe ($63)
Whether you’re hoping to repair color-treated hair or you just want to mix up your hair products, this deep conditioning mask from Oribe is a lifesaver. While it’s a bit too heavy to use every day, I lather it on my hair about once a week and let it sit for a few minutes before washing it out.
Classic Red Cream Nail Lacquer– Zoya ($10.50)
This is my signature nail polish shade, and it’s all natural!
Baby Cheeks Blush Stick– Westman Atelier ($50)
Launched by makeup artist Gucci Westman, this company offers some of the best clean beauty products on the market, and their blush stick is no exception. Even though I normally don’t wear blush every day, since I have a naturally pink undertone, this stick is perfect for on-camera occasions– which now seem to be every day with Zoom meetings and classes.
Essential Oils Box– Vitruvi ($58)
Whether you’re anxious about COVID-19, online school/work, or the general state of the world, these oils will have you feeling relaxed in no time.
G.Tox Himalayan Salt Scalp Scrub Shampoo– Goop ($42)
Give yourself a DIY scalp massage with this luxurious salt scrub shampoo. It’s worth every penny and will leave you (and your hair) feeling refreshed.
Glow & Get It Cooling and Brightening Eye Balm– Tula ($28)
This eye balm is ideal for mornings on the go. When I was at school (before things were all virtual!) I’d apply a quick swipe of this balm underneath my sunscreen, and it immediately brightened my face. I’m a firm believer that bright eyes are the most important part of any beauty look.
