Ever since I can remember, I have always been a news junkie. Whether I am flipping through fashion magazines, watching the Travel Channel, or reading an article on CNN, I am interested in anything news-related. I am very opinionated when it comes to politics but just as intense when discussing Met Gala outfits. This is exactly what I love about Anderson Cooper! Although he is mostly celebrated for his incredible contribution to “serious” journalism, Anderson Cooper’s sense of humor is also highly impressive. He is equally well-versed about what happened on the last episode of
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” as he is on the latest updates in the 2016 Presidential Election. I had the pleasure of meeting him earlier this year in Santa Barbara, and he was absolutely fascinating to talk to. To celebrate Anderson Cooper’s birthday today, I’ve listed a few other reasons why he is one of my favorite people in the entire world.
His laugh!
It is one of the best and most hilarious things I have seen in a long time.
Anderson is not afraid to wear a shirt covered in French fries.
He isn’t above wearing silly clothes.
He can seriously rock a seriously hideous wig.
I mean, who else could pull this off?!
He’s a major animal lover.
I have four dogs, three of which are rescues, and the fact that Anderson Cooper is as passionate about animal welfare as I am makes me like him even more!
He responds to crazy people on Twitter but doesn’t like Twitter wars.
Anderson does not engage in immature Twitter wars but rather responds to uninformed people on social media with a quick-witted comment.
He’s best friends with Andy Cohen.
Anderson Cooper, Andy Cohen, Alexandra Chang… It has a nice ring to it, don’t you think? I want to be the third AC!
He kept a straight face when interviewing Donald Trump.
Now that’s impressive.
